Talk about effective advertising!!!

right on google's front page, there is a link that says:

"G1 Phone Available Now - Click Here"

think about that as a good place to advertise!!!

when you click, it takes you

Google is always the best in advertising strategies. Thats the reason
why they are the leading advertisement provider in the internet.
well, with BILLIONS of people going to google.com/ on a daily basis,
you can imagine that anything they put on that opening page, it will
get a lot of exposure.

of course they would put a link for their own phone in there.
It really must be one of most wanted and best places to advertise any
product. Imagine how much Google could fetch is they sold some
advertising space on the home page.
well, it is kind of unique, because there is usually no ads there.
quite an attention grabber if you ask me.

I would love to see how many clicks they get on that link on the Google main page. It must be in the tens of thousands a day.
